Bold Adventure, Mexican Pete and MONAADI are three against the field here and we will side with the last-named. Reg Hollinshead applies the visor for the first time on Monaadi who has won here over 1m 6f and has probably got the ability to win over further. That success came in a similar handicap to this, where he was made to work hard, and he was never in with a realistic chance of following up last time when he caught a tartar. There is nothing quite as strong in opposition today, he looks as though he will stay this far and gets the vote. Bold Adventure won over course and distance last month and is now 9lbs higher. Nonethless, he went close again last time at Lingfield and is much respected. Mexican Pete has never won on an artificial surface but he does stay well and coming from a yard in form there are clear possibilities where he is concerned. King De Lune is 1lb lower than when running a nice race after a long lay-off here last month. He saw that out pretty well and looks as though he will get home here, and it could actually be argued that he is unexposed so check the market for clues. Cantabilly looks in need of a favour from the assessor and we prefer the claims of Monaadi.
