In depth

Verdict

Gross Prophet is preferred to Desperate Dan and Lady Bahia. Tom Dascombe has done remarkably well with the firepower that he has at his disposal and the selection looks to have an excellent chance of providing him with another winner this afternoon. Official ratings suggest that he has plenty in hand at the weights whilst, in three visits here, he has won twice and finished second. The main danger is Desperate Dan who also acts well around here. He usually travels well in his races and has been persuaded to put his head in front on a couple of occasions but he could be biting off more than he can chew here. Lady Bahia came right back to form in March after a quiet spell and she should be in the mix if resuming in the same vein but she has her work cut out to get the better of our selection, Gross Prophet.
