Quite a competitive contest for this time of year with a couple of winners involved along with a few that have shown some ability. Lady Killer has been well placed to win a couple of similar events, and although outclassed on her latest outing, she will appreciate the return to this grade. She along with Fortunately and Busted Flush look the pick of this bunch. Lady Killer gets the vote to get back to winning ways. She has proved a tough filly to pass at this level and has nothing to fear from Fortunately, who was well held when these pair met at Thirsk last month. Providing she handles this surface she can be this first two-year-old to land three races this term. The main danger could prove to be Busted Flush, who takes a drop in class having cut no ice in maidens. Jamie Osborne's gelding looked as though the outing was still needed when having his second outing at Leicester and should strip much sharper here. Of the others Soul Provider, a half-sister to seven-furlong winner Sophister, shaped with plenty of promise after missing the break on her debut. Soon well detached, she made up a tremendous amount of ground from the halfway stage, before getting tired in the closing stages. She will be much the wiser in this and should go close, but there is a suspicion she may be suited by a bit further.
