A maximum field for the race of the night. The weights are headed by course specialist, who has gained all three of his victories over course and distance. He gets the vote to overturn recent course form with both Mufreh and Arc En Ciel. That was over seven-furlongs, which is a trip short of his best and meets his two rivals on better terms here. Mufreh, like Arc En Ciel have been in cracking form here and they are both sure to go well. However, Murfeh will have to turn in a personal best, over a trip which he has yet to convince over and Arc En Ciel has also appeared better over a shorter trip than which he encounters here. The locally trained Bressbee looks to be high enough in the weights for the present, but Diamond Green clearly goes well here, winning three times from six outings. Darryll Holland, who was on board when winning over course and distance last month, again takes the reins and he could be the one to chase the selection home. Others to consider in a cracking contest include Quite Reading and Katiypour. The latter is only 1lb higher than when beating a stablemate of the selection, Just Wiz back in November, and with Kevin Darley coming here to take the ride, he is worthy of plenty of respect.
