Gilded Cove can defy topweight against Come Away With Me, Stoic Leader and Christina Sanchez. The latter was strongly fancied here last time but two races in three days ultimately proved her undoing as she could only finish third over seven furlongs. A three week break and a drop back in trip may help. However, Gilded Cove will be a tough nut to crack, as three wins in five starts confirms. Reg Hollinshead's charge gained his third victory this season here in claiming company just over a fortnight ago, and although the opposition was not that strong, his manner of victory was impressive. A similar performance should be enough against Stoic Leader who is looking a bit high in the weights now. Come Away With Me is open to improvement after beating the odds-on Moyanna at Thirsk on only her second racecourse visit. That was a bad contest though and she might not be able to get the run of the race here. All in all, Gilded Cove is the safest option.
