Verdict
Sir Mark Prescott's runners are often worth following once they strike form and the yard has made a quicker start than usually this year. MERRITT ISLAND (NAP) won easily at Bath last week and should make a bold bid to defy her penalty. She's preferred to the Godolphin runner Bittern, who was a beaten favourite here in February. Cassandane and Miss Inga Sock were first and second at Bath last month. The latter looks the pick of the weights today and was placed on the Polytrack last year so should handle the surface. Edge Of Heaven is exposed but still looks the pick of the remainder.
