    Verdict

UPHOLD returned from a winter break to land a Nottingham maiden last June and followed up in a Haydock handicap. Disappointing later, he reappears for a new yard in first-time blinkers and can return to winning ways. The Which Doctor hasn't won since September 2009 but is generally consistent and Richard Guest fits him with an eye-shield for the first time. Thrust Control has a decent strike-rate and won a claimer at Catterick last time but his only all-weather success came on Southwell's Fibresand surface. Kipchak is consistent enough but has a few pounds to find on official figures.
