PRIDE OF NORTHCARE is fancied to maintain his good run of form and can get the better of Another Socket and Cheshire Rose. The selection has crept another 2lbs up the handicap for his narrow defeat by Wreningham at Great Leighs but it's to be hoped that the fitting of a visor will eke out further improvement. This track holds no fears for him and he has plenty in his favour. The drop back in trip may not suit Tangerine Trees but Another Socket is another with plenty in her favour and she has only finished out of the money once in four all-weather starts. She shaped quite well last time and could be running into form. Cheshire Rose has yet to run on the all-weather but her yard has an excellent strike rate at this track and she isn't at all badly treated on her best form. So, keep an eye on her but Pride Of Northcare is the solid option and is preferred.
