A dire maiden in which AZABU JUBAN is the pick ahead of Isabelonabicycle and Amwell House. Azabu Juban was confidently anticipated to dot up at Southwell on her last start but spectacularly let the backers down on the day. The fact that she hasn't been seen out since then suggests that there must have been something amiss. Isabelonabicycle was disappointing at Kempton. Connections are clearly hoping that she likes racing the other way around today. Amwell House put up a fair effort at Goodwood when out of the handicap in an amateur riders race. John Potts is exposed as moderate around this circuit. Orkney has gone well for Tom Eaves in the past and the jockey renews his association this afternoon. Crimsonwing is yet to trouble the judge under either code. Templetuohy Max is likely to be held up in rear and he has to be respected at this level granted his second in a handicap at the course in September. Azabu Juban gets the nod.
