Just the four runners turn up for this maiden and many potential rivals may have been put off by the presence of the progressive MEJD who has our vote over High Importance and Serafina's Flight. The three protagonists have all been improving but the pick has race sharpness on his side with three runs this term. Also we know he's trained on and he was unlucky to bump into a potentially smart horse from Mark Johnston's yard last time. High Importance improved marginally on his first run on his last start as a juvenile. He doesn't look anything special based on those runs and we are yet to know if he'll continue to progress as a three-year-old. We have the same quandary with Serafina's Flight, however on the plus side we know she likes it here. She beat home a subsequent winner on her last run and will be partnered by an inform jock. Haf looks up against it in this company based on her first run so in an intriguing maiden Mejd seems to have most in his favour.
