David Evans has started the season well and his BAZROY looks the one to beat in this seller with stablemate Straight Face and last time out winner What's Up Doc also on the list. Easily the highest rated of these the pick was winning some useful handicaps before being forced into a lengthy absence. He's hinted that he retains at least some of his ability and he's been unlucky to bump into some better horses in claimers in two runs since his return. Straight Face has it to do at the weights but, as with the pick, the form of the yard will help and he'll be seen in a better light than ion his last run now back at this level. What's Up Doc has a bit to do on the ratings too but may be better than his mark suggests. He won a similar race last time and with a good record at this level he deserves our respect. Swiss Art looks a possible each-way selection after some solid efforts and Well Of Echoes also falls into that bracket. If the ratings are right then Bazroy wins and we give him that chance for a yard going well.
