    Verdict

Asdaa scored at Chelmsford last month but has been unable to cope with a 5lb rise in subsequent races. DOUBLE KODIAC made a successful debut in France in 2018 and competed at a higher level last season so the lack of a recent run shouldn't be a problem and he gets the nod. Robero is better at Southwell but has won twice around here and has been well placed to win 10 races. Mamillius, four times a winner on Turf, is still a maiden after seven all-weather starts and though only headed in the final strides at Lingfield that was a lower-class handicap than this. Neither Baby Steps nor Glenn Coco can be dismissed in a tight-looking handicap.
