Having already won here and at Wincanton, CALVA D’AUGE has to give 16lb to the four-year-old Fraser Island but may be up to the task given he’s proven on the surface and Nicky Henderson’s charge was disappointing under a penalty at Kempton. Beaufort has had a wind operation since leaving Michael Dods, for whom he won over 1m4f at Newcastle last year. Ballydoyle also won on the Flat and the French import is worth a market check.
