Pink Jazz is 3-7 around here but has been badly out of form unlike My Brother Mike, who has eight victories to his credit and initiated a double with a convincing victory over the track and trip in September. He's 5lb higher here but should get into contention. Universal Effect completed a course and distance double around a year ago and would have to be considered from just 3lb higher if ready after a long break. Eligible didn't quite get the run of the race when placed here last month while Old Port has improved with each run and makes his handicap debut. FAR FROM A RUBY won over the track and trip in September and performed well in subsequent starts the same month. She's had a break and should be ready to regain the winning thread.
