        Verdict

        STANLEY GOODSPEED can get his reward here for a string of consistent efforts and he is taken to get the better of Shunkawakhan and Tripbiyah. The selection went close when chasing home Peper Harrow over this course and distance last time and he has now dropped to a very fair mark. He looks as though he is ready to once again take his chance and he is a confident choice. Shunkawakhan wasn't beaten far at Ayr earlier in the month and he is another who is back on a competitive mark. He has won over the course and distance and he has a good draw so he has to be on the shortlist. Tripbiyah is making his handicap debut and he should be suited by this longer trip after getting outpaced over 5f last time out. Ever Cheerful is a course and distance winner but he was well beaten at Lingfield last time and he is hard to fancy off the back of that effort. Just Timmy Marcus has gone well here in the past and he has a good low draw so he could go well at a price. However, the vote goes to Stanley Goodspeed.
