In the Novice Auction Stakes race, Tumbleweed Glen gets the call over Ragged Glory, Watchmyeyes and Le Corvee. The fact that Frankie Dettori has ventured to Wolverhampton on a Saturday night to partner the Brian Meehan-trained gelding, represents a tip in itself. Also, the selection ran well when just beaten by Rebel Rebel last time in a similar race and, with blinkers now fitted for the first time, looks set to go very well. Ragged Glory's best form can be rated on a par with the selection, so expect a bold showing from him, a similar comment applying to Watchmyeyes who, despite wandering all over the track, won over course and distance on Thursday. Finally, Le Corvee, overall, takes a drop in class today and warrants some consideration but the others look to need to improve to play a part in proceedings, although Here's The Plan has run in better events since winning on her debut so do not be totally surprised if she fares better today. Once again, though, the selection is Tumbleweed Glen.
