      Verdict

      Six of these won their latest outings but a couple stand out on recent form. Bay Of Naples is one having completed a double in novice company with a recent course and distance success but DAHAWI also defied a penalty in a novices race at Kempton to remain unbeaten. Further progress is expected over this extra furlong now handicapping and Hugo Palmer’s colt gets the vote. Nubough could also go well after making a winning return at Chelmsford and is preferred to Ballistic while Kempton winner Gold At Midnight is another novice winner but Headland ended last year with a handicap success and is 13lb higher on his return.
