        Verdict

        Byford returns from a lay-off 4lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield in February. Alba Rose placed at Doncaster last month and debuts on the all-weather along with Arqoob while Apex King has shown his best over a mile so far and won over the latter trip at Lingfield last time. But TRICOLORE (NAP) has raced twice over course and distance and won on both occasions. He finished well ahead of Songkran last time and there looks more to come. One Last Dance went close here recently but is upped a couple of grades.
