Verdict
MIDNIGHTS LEGACY (NAP) gives 7lb all round, penalised for an easy win in a three-horse affair at Plumpton. He'd previously spent the Flat season contesting good-quality handicaps with credit and should be open to considerable improvement now his attentions are turned once more to hurdling. He's only had the three starts over timber and is preferred to Jay Jay Reilly. The latter shaped well enough for the Skeltons on his hurdling debut when beaten 14l at Stratford, will come on plenty for the experience and is the obvious danger. Across The Channel has yet to sparkle over hurdles but has time on his side and Aweedram is a decent Flat recruit.
