Firth Of Forth made an encouraging bumper debut at Kelso in March and probably found the ground too quick on a return visit a couple of months later. Fortescue Wood easily won a heavy-ground Ayr bumper in January and returned with a twisted shoe when last of four there next time. HIDOR DE BERSY, a half-brother to six winning jumpers, made no mistake on his bumper debut at Huntingdon and looks a nice prospect for hurdling so gets the nod. Snowy Clouds dead-heated for a point-to-point at Sandon in April and has joined Nicky Richards while Nurse Susan is related to three winners and anything Dan Skelton sends this far north is worth noting.
