Desert Fantasy would win this with ease if retaining any of his old ability but the seven-year-old has clearly had his problems and a safer bet looks to be Prince Dayjur, who is preferred to Million Percent. The selection is also not as good as he once was but showed respectable form in better company than this last term and, provided that he is fit enough for his reappearance, he should be good enough to beat these in such a weak race. Merdiff usually runs up to his mark in this grade and he is entitled to be thereabouts once more, while Paso Doble is inconsistent and hard to recommend with any confidence. Wiltshire has been showing improved form of late, albeit in very moderate company. Karl Burke's runners in this grade always warrant respect and Million Percent is no exception but Prince Dayjur has an obvious chance and he gets the vote in the hope that he is fit for his reappearance.
