Spirit of Coniston was good value for his win in a Folkestone claimer last time and is taken to follow up off what looks a favourable mark in a race where the main dangers look to be Inaminute and Otis B Driftwood. The last mentioned is strictly held by the selection on running at Folkestone but is entitled to be thereabouts on that evidence. Black Jade is lightly raced and represents the yard of Michael Jarvis that has been in good form but is difficult to back with confidence on all known form; comments that also apply to Creambiscuit. Inaminute won his seller here over seven furlongs in decisive fashion last time and has to be of interest but is not certain to be as effective back in trip today.
