LADY LAM has the most appealing profile and is selected ahead of Mr Chocolate Drop and Kielty's Folly. Sylvester Kirk's Slip Anchor filly comes here on the back of a win on her handicap debut at Kempton and a 5lb rise in the weights looks more than fair. She has a nice draw and should be capable of running another big race. Mr Chocolate Drop ran ok at Southwell on Tuesday and has the form around here to get competitive, whilst Catholic Hill put in a better performance at Kempton last time and is not discarded. Quiet Mountain shaped with more promise last time out and he looks competitively handicapped, Ermine Grey is a course winner and is slowly edging down the weights, whilst Kielty's Folly is consistent and has the form in the book to gain another course win despite top-weight. Home was a beaten favourite here last time but he only went down by the narrowest of margins and despite a poor win record he certainly has the ability to win off this mark. Course and distance winners Mountain Pass and Machinate are both consistent, and each is in better form than Aggbag who flopped twice when last seen in the Autumn. A typically trappy handicap, where preference is for Lady Lam.
