Lewyn now looks handicapped up to the hilt and is happily taken on over this longer trip with NEDUARDO, whilst Tres Amigos and Sir Frank Wappat are also considered in an open race. Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt broke his maiden tag at Southwell last month and although his handicap mark has been altered as a result, he doesn't look too harshly treated. He should handle this track and with his previous third to Srda looking strong a bold bid is expected. Ghazwah is nicely-bred and she was far from disgraced in a Deauville Listed race last month, Tres Amigos scored easily at Southwell when last seen in October and like fellow handicap debutant Little Garcon is considered despite high enough handicap marks. Gertmegalush tries the visor for the first time, whilst Candyfloss Girl looks a stronger horse after her winter break. Sir Frank Wappat has a 6lb penalty for his Kempton win last time but he won with plenty in hand and he looks the sort of horse who should continue to hold his own as he rises up the grades. An interesting race with some in-form horses, however marginal preference is for Neduardo.
