    Verdict

MARCELA DE VEGA was beaten only a neck by an odds-on favourite over track and trip last month with Baltic Wolve well behind in third and Ralph Beckett’s filly can open her account with any further progress. The Godolphin colt Kingswear is a likely improver having failed to threaten over today’s distance at Kempton and jockey bookings suggest he’s preferred to stablemate and newcomer Regal Legacy. Nicks Not Wonder was beaten a long way when third over a shorter trip here on his reappearance while Indigo Lake is fitted with headgear having gone backwards over 1m2f at Lingfield last month and Pummel was well beaten at Kempton on his debut.
