Cree, Hamassy and Magic Amour are three against the field in a competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Cree. The selection has been at the top of his game of late and was a good second behind Vegas Boy last time out, that form looks rock solid and from a good draw he looks a value bet in an open affair. Hamaasy rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Sweet Pickle but this looks tougher and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Magic Amour is another that could go well on his latest third behind Hamassy, he is better off with that rival here and will not be far away. Of the remainder Fat Heart has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price with his yard in form while Millfields Dream is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but looks weighted up to his best and for the winner we return to Cree to small stakes.
