In depth

Verdict

Another trappy race with plenty of chances but Toni Alcala looks to be coming back to form and we'll chance him against Jidiya and Two Of A Kind. Tom Greenall has been booked for the mount this afternoon and having had two recent pipe-openers, Toni Alcala should just about be matchfit on this occasion. Jidiya wins plenty on the artificial surfaces and Steve Gollings gives him a chance over a longer trip today. This shouldn't be too much of a problem as he stays well in excess of two miles over hurdles. Two Of A Kind is highly interesting on return for Paul Blockley. A useful looking stayer when with John Hills, this is a return from over a year off the track and the market must be watched vociferously. Great View hasn't won for almost a year. That said, the jockey on that occasion was Simon Walker and he is reunited with the horse today. Altitude Dancer has bits and pieces of form but has just not been running well of late. Serjeant At Arms is having his third run since leaving John Oxx's yard in Ireland. Toni Alcala looks to be coming back to form and could represent the value option.
