Verdict

A very low-grade event in which Quoteline Direct, who won his first race since 2018 here last month when narrowly beating Beau Geste, is top rated and likely to be in contention. They meet on the same terms and there's nothing between them though both may have to settle for a place behind NORTHERN. Jamie Osborne's charge has been plying his trade on Polytrack, landing a handicap over the trip at Lingfield, and a recent close second at Kempton makes him the one to beat. Young jockey George Rooke steered Cinzento to a fourth all-weather success over an extended 1m5f at Chelmsford and is likely to make the most of his mount's stamina here so he shouldn't be discounted.
