Al Ameen led close home to land a Southwell maiden over the trip then just failed to concede 5lb to the winner over 6f at Lingfield. He looks fairly treated for his handicap debut but ADAAY IN ASIA is taken to land her fourth victory. She hasn't run over the minimum since her debut last May but has shown excellent speed in all starts winning at Lingfield and Leicester in the summer. She ran in a much better race at Kempton last time and can give the weight away. Unfinishedsympathy looks a big threat as she was very highly tried after scoring at Chelmsford and may just have needed the run at Newcastle last month after a long break. Shamlaan has won three times over the trip but went up 10lb for scoring at Lingfield and was well beaten when well supported on this track next time.
