A closely-matched contest in which preference is for FLYING VALENTINO ahead of Flores Sea and Fol Liam. Ian Williams' mare caught the eye at Leicester last time out when staying on for a never nearer sixth. She started at 40/1 on that day but this four-time winner would be much more interesting today if the market vibes are positive. Broughtons Dream and Avaricious need to improve on their two starts to date, Angelena Ballerina has a chance at the weights and her best effort to date came at the track, whilst Bookiebasher Babe shaped with more promise at Lingfield last time out and is not ignored given her good record here. Trade Centre's Goodwood flop can be ignored and the drop in grade should see a better run, whilst the same applies to Bath regular Full Victory. Flores Sea hasn't been with Ruth Carr for long and he rates better than his run here last month, however his best form is at Southwell. Fol Liam has a better record here and Alan McCabe's 70-rated gelding is expected to perform much better than when a place ahead of Flores Sea last time out. A competitive selling contest then, where preference is for Flying Valentino.
