Verdict

Trachonitis makes most appeal here but Calculating is accorded respect and Stoop To Conquer more than capable if consenting to give his all. John Jenkins's charge was tackling two miles for the first time when running on well to land the spoils at Kempton. A 4lb rise is fair given that he's raced from higher marks in the past and he has scope for further improvement at this trip. Calculating has proved to be a consistent performer on the all-weather and looks sure to be involved. This is the first time that he's tackled this sort of trip so he does have his stamina to prove but he shapes as though he'll stay and is respected. Stoop To Conquer has too many questions to answer to be put forwards but he's capable of popping up if reproducing the pick of his turf form. The Nawab looks best of the remainder but Trachonitis is our idea of the winner.
