Verdict

Star Of Southwold, a winner at Newmarket in April for Richard Hannon, has made good progress for Mick Appleby having just failed over the course and distance before going one better at Chelmsford. He's only been raised 1lb so must enter calculations. SHEBERGHAN won a maiden at Sligo in May for Dermot Weld. The son of Sea The Stars was returning from a long break when a close third at Lingfield last month and with that under his belt he can gain his first victory for new connections. Dragon Mall has been racing in better company since moving to Rebecca Menzies so the drop in class should see him in a better light while Scofflaw has managed to win six races though tackles this longer trip for the first time. Guvenor's Choice is on a long losing run and is only slowly dropping in the ratings.
