The best jockey by far here is Simon Walker, and it is his mount Tycheros that gets the vote over Lady Misha, Chocolate Boy and Bobby Kennard. Division two of this amateur riders' contest looks a lot easier to solve than the first, with Tycheros holding sound claims based on past efforts. The Stuart Williams-trained four-year-old gets weight off all his rivals, and his ability to stay will stand him in good stead against today's moderate opposition. His back-to-back victories here last year were both gained with his partners forcing a steady pace, and although those tactics did not work here last time, that was in stronger company. We reckon that this half-brother to Group 3 winner Solo Mio will set out to dominate, and it is hard to see anything here capable of matching him. Lady Misha caught the eye when just denied a place in apprentice company here last month, and she is worth a try over this longer journey, while Chocolate Boy pays his first visit to Wolverhampton but handles Lingfield's Polytrack well enough. He has not had a lot of racing of late and so will be fresh, and you can be sure that Jamie Osborne will have Bobby Kennard fit enough after his break. Red Sun has been absent for four months, but will be placed to good effect soon no doubt, and on this occasion he and the rest have it to do to stop Tycheros from dominating from start to finish.
