Arpeggio has been found a weak race and can follow up last week's success under a 6lb penalty. The David Nicholls-trained gelding took advantage of a most favourable mark when upsetting an odds-on favourite in a decent handicap at Southwell with the pair well clear of the third. There was much to admire about the way the eight-year-old travelled before showing plenty of determination in the finish and he cdan overcome his welter burden in this much weaker event. Shore Vision was a comfortable winner at Southwell in November (now 3lb higher) and didn't get the clearest of runs next time so rates the main danger. Merely A Monarch has been well beaten of late including in a seller last time while Only For Gold is on the downgrade and the remainder are hard to fancy.
