The first division of a poor contest and stakes are advised to be kept to a minimum. Noble Locks has at least got some winning form to his name but may struggle under a double penalty while Valuable Gift has good claims at the weights but is a frustrating type and remains a maiden. Mount Royale ran well last time but, along with recent winner Sudra, has a little to find on these terms so a tentative vote goes to Arc El Ciel. Rod Millman's charge has been in fair form in handicaps of late and takes a significant drop in grade so should give each way backers a shout.
