      Verdict

      Swiss Belle made a winning start over course and distance last month but had little to beat on that occasion. Black Sails is still carrying a penalty for his debut success at the Curragh last May but only found one too good at Kempton last month on his first run for Archie Watson and will strip fitter here. Jamie Osborne picked up KION for 35,000gns in the autumn after he’d run a cracking race on his second start at the Curragh. He has a lay-off to overcome but that purchase price could be a bargain on the evidence so far.
