    Verdict

Mondo Cane has only won once in 16 starts over fences but went close to doubling his tally at Leicester last month in a better class race than this. SKIPPING ON was having only his second start over fences when scoring at Towcester and was travelling well when falling there a week later. He was beaten narrowly at Leicester last time though was disqualified when his rider weighed in 2lb light - he can gain compensation here. Good Man Hughie won over hurdles at Lingfield last January but hasn't shown much over fences, though did a bit better when runner-up back there last month. Skint has gone backwards since a comfortable victory at Taunton a year ago.
