A compressed handicap for the apprentices that can be taken by RESENTFUL ANGEL, while The Grey One, Lucky Score and Impressionist Art can all go well. The selection won a Lingfield handicap over a similar trip last month, and was not far away from following up back at that track more recently. She acts on this surface, as evidenced by her maiden run here last year, she is well drawn towards the inside rail, and she looks to have plenty of ticks in the right boxes for tonight. The Grey One is 5lbs higher than when scoring over course and distance in October, and while he has run some reasonable races from a similar mark to today's since then, the handicapper looks to just have his measure for now. Lucky Score showed up well when tried here for the first time last month, and from the same mark today can again be competitive, while Impressionist Art raids from Ireland after three successive runner-up placings at The Curragh and Dundalk. A 5lb higher mark in Britain still gives him a squeak here and we should watch the market for clues. Coolnaharan is 3lbs higher than when scoring in a similarly moderate handicap here last time, and the yard's runners that are backed do well here, so he is also worthy of a check for any money, but without that knowledge we'll side with Resentful Angel.
