        Verdict

        David Arbuthnot's Fazza has run creditably in handicaps, including over course and distance on his most recent start, since landing his maiden at Lingfield in December and he has to be respected but a better bet looks to be LAY CLAIM, who can open his account. Alan McCabe's colt has run some decent races in handicaps and maidens on turf this term, he handles the Polytrack and looks worth chancing in this company. Roger Charltin's Walcot Square has similar claims and looks to be going the right way so he has to be considered, while Robert Cowell's Marosh should appreciate the return to this surface having not handled the testing going at Newmarket last time.
