There are plenty to consider here with the shortlist containing Epices, Evolution, Sinnomore, Top Mark and Slip Catch, with the vote going to Top Mark. The selection improved markedly on his soft-ground Newbury debut to finish second on a mile event on Lingfield's Polytrack last time. That would appear to rate as fair form in the context of this race and he has to be given every chance. Epices ran a fair race behind Triple Two here last time and the extra distance today will suit. The John Gosden-trained Evolution should be noted in the betting. A similar comment applies to Sinnomore, a half brother by Sinndar to Coy, and who cost 100,000 euros. Along Came Molly was behind Top Mark at Newbury and is interesting in that, likeably bred, he is equipped with first-time blinkers today. Blacknyello Bonnet has hinted at ability and races on the all-weather for the first-time today. John Gosden also runs Bramasole, but Jimmy Fortune rides Evolution. Missatacama caught the eye staying on behind a Gosden runner, Karen's Caper, at Lingfield last time, so is another to pay some heed to, while Slip Catch also got the hang of things late on at Warwick last time and should improve further with that experience under her belt. Finally, it is interesting to see Noel Chance have a runner on the Flat, and Suturia is certainly well bred, but the betting should tell us more. Overall, though, the vote goes to Top Mark.
