Golden Alchemist, King's Spear and Wassfa look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the vote is given to Golden Alchemist. The selection has had plenty of chances but his best form gives him plenty in hand and from a good draw he looks the one to be on. King's Spear rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time so he can not be put forward with any confidence; however, his yard is in form. Wassfa is another that could go well on his latest second behind Pleasing. This slightly longer trip should suit and he should be watched in the market. Of the remainder, Vacation is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with and for the winner we return to Golden Alchemist to small stakes.
