Always Best, Revisionist and Foxxy are three against the field in this trappy opener and the vote is given to Always Best. The selection was a fair third behind Oakley Heffert last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and from a good draw he looks the one to be on. Revisionist rates the main danger on his latest third behind Doubley Guest but he has had plenty of chances in similar races without taking one and is taken on with this in mind. Foxxy is another that could go well on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. However, he could improve for the fitting of first time cheek pieces. Of the remainder Lawyer To World looks on a handy mark and with his yard in form could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Always Best to small stakes.
