Chalentina gets the narrowest of votes over Rock Diva, Tumbelini and Red Barnet. Nothing makes that much appeal here, but Chalentina has been placed on a few occasions, including when third from out of the handicap at Yarmouth last month. Seven furlongs is her trip, and she is taken to mark her return to the all-weather with a return to the winner's enclosure. Rock Diva is still a maiden, but has shaped well since returning from a break. A promising second at Thirsk the time before last, she ran quite well when fourth at Carlisle on what was her handicap bow. Tumbelini has only been tried over six furlongs to date, but needs much further on breeding, while Red Barnett will soon be well handicapped, and that is when to latch on to Mick Easterby's charge. All in all, this uninspiring contest can go the way of Chalentina.
