Verdict

Several of these are frustrating to say the least given Never Said Nothing has finished runner-up on his last five outings while Carey Street and Arabic Welcome have returned beaten favourites on their last three starts. Any one of the above could pop up today but a speculative vote goes to SPIRITOFTHENORTH. The latter placed off higher marks last term and may improve for this extra distance on his return to action with Lord Torranaga perhaps best of the rest having placed here when last seen on the Flat.
