A poor contest with lots of exposed and out of form runners and it may again be the turn of Uhuru Peak, who seems to win once a year, while Miss Sure Bond can go well and Charlottebutterfly should not be far away. Uhuru Peak does not win often, but has done so off a higher mark than this, runs at his optimum trip, and although he has a poor draw here, he can be dropped in a play late, so he is a sporting suggestion. Charlottebutterly won a Lingfield claimer a coupler of starts ago and then had that form reversed by Sion Hill here over c&d last time. She has gone up in the handicap now and will struggle as a result. Miss Sure Bond is very much an in and out performer who could win this if at her best, though she has a 0 from 13 record and may have to wait longer to break her duck. Marmooq likes it here but will have his stamina stretched to the max, while the same goes for Avontuur, who scored here over 6f last time, and Uhuru Peak is the percentage call.
