A maiden very thin on quality and one which should be a steering job for Tobar Suil Lady, while Rub Of The Relic looks next best. The selection has finished in the frame on her only two starts to date and the form of those Ripon and Redcar runs looks very good in the context of this race. The only real doubt is whether she will handle the surface, but that aside she is a confident choice. Rub Of The Relic was in decent form when the rains prevailed in June and July, but his form has tailed off since and we suspect that things may again happen too quickly here. Kyllis showed some promise on her Redcar debut and will surely improve a fair bit for that, so she can probably make the frame, while we need to keep an eye on the market to give us a clue to the chances of the newcomers. But Tobar Suil Lady is improving nicely and can break her duck here.
