Gone Gold looks the one to be with in this maiden; Expedience and Victory Mile are also considered. The selection hails from a yard in good form and he showed plenty of promise on his debut before running out of steam. This colt does have Group 1 entries and with this drop in trip in his favour he can get his head in front. Expedience is another from a top yard but she failed to build on her promising debut at Nottingham last time. However, the race has worked out quite well so she should not be dismissed too readily. Victory Mile is an interesting colt from the Brian Meehan yard but his runners do tend to need their first run and for that reason he is best watched. Tykie Two was disappointing on her debut and will need to improve to get competitive, but Gone Gold sets the standard here and looks the one to be on.
