        Verdict

        Salute, Drizzi and Prince Golan are the shortlisted trio here, with Salute set to come out on top. Drizzi has taken a seller a couple of months ago and shaped well to take third in an apprentice claimer last time. He is receiving weight from his principal opponents here and looks sure to play a part. Prince Golan has slipped down the ladder with great speed, having been a Dante contender in May, he has been very disappointing in his last two handicap starts. He takes a big drop in grade here but needs to show more to prove he can resume winning ways. Salute won on his last attempt in this class at Warwick in September. he has run with credit without winning since in handicaps and looks the most reliable runner in the field. Salute can take advantage of being dropped to this level once more and can receive a warm greeting in the winners' enclosure.
