        Verdict

        Flaxen Lake is running well at present and is well drawn to attack from the off and that may help him to reverse Kempton placings with Madam Isshe who finished a neck in front of him over five furlongs when better drawn. Double Carpet should have a say in the outcome whilst it will be interesting to see if there's any support for the lightly raced pair I'lldoit (on his handicap bow) and Shamarlane (on debut for a new yard). Best One is running well and looks sure to be popular but he has failed to make the frame in ten runs at this track so couldn't be supported with any confidence but GREEN LAGONDA has won here and didn't shape too badly at Goodwood last time and could go close if building on that.
