Munsaab made a winning bumper debut at Punchestown in February but had little chance when sent into Grade 1 company on the same track on his only subsequent start. Blue Ridge Lane is just about the pick on hurdling form though he looks vulnerable to a newcomer and HIRED HAND fits the bill. Charles O'Brien's charge was a little disappointing when strongly fancied for a Tipperary bumper after a fine debut at Punchestown and connections will be keen to recoup losses. Cristal Island has been in decent form on the level at around a mile and Paul Carberry's presence is a bonus while Smokey Joe Joe may be ridden with more restraint after setting a strong pace on his hurdling debut at Clonmel.
